I DON’T CARE TOO MUCH FOR MONEY…MONEY CAN’T BUY ME LOVE

I believe that most people think, “If only I had more money, I would be happy!” That isn’t always the case. A few very talented (and wealthy) people that seemed to “have had it all” come to mind. Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, and Whitney Houston are a few which will always stand out in society as examples.

There are some things that money just can’t buy! I have made a list of the top 10 Things Money can’t buy (But Sales People Should Possess):

Happiness-Everyone wants to be happy. Everyone seems to have a plan. Get the perfect job, fall in love, get married, have a family, and be happy. However, happiness doesn’t always depend on the big things in life. Enjoy the small things that make you happy. A smile from someone you don’t know. A compliment given to you. A word of encouragement from a friend or neighbor.

Manners-You can’t buy manners. Real manners come from within. If you don’t have real manners, they will show. Manners are taught by your parents and family.

Respect– Respect can’t be bought. Everyone wants to be respected, in their family, at work, with friends. You can only earn respect by working hard and being honest in your daily work.

Faith-You can’t buy faith.  If you don’t have faith in yourself, it will be hard to be able to endure.

Trust– People have to know that they can trust you.  This can’t be bought, only earned.

Patience-Patience can’t be bought. Be kind and patient with everyone that you deal with. This isn’t only with clients, but everyone around you.

Integrity-Be honest. Don’t make up stories; instead, tell real stories that have happened and share your experiences.

Love-Everyone needs love. This may be through your family, good friends, children, or pets. The most important thing is you have love in your life.

Sense of humor-Laugh! Enjoy life. Most importantly, be able to laugh at yourself!

Wisdom through experience-Knowledge, wisdom, and experiences cannot be bought. With real experiences in life, you will gain knowledge on how to handle your professional and personal journey.

I try to live my life with these simple rules. I know that they make a difference in my life and hope they serve as a guide for other people.
