Bennett Napier, MS, CAE

Bennett Napier has been a Certified Association Executive for over 25 years. He was named as one of “Florida’s Most Influential Business Leaders” for four years in a row by Florida Trend Magazine. He is also a past Board Chair of the AMC Institute, the global trade association for the association management company industry. Fun Fact: Bennett enjoys attending hard rock/heavy metal concerts and festivals. He also enjoys travel having visited forty five countries and counting.

Amy has over twenty-five years’ experience in all areas of association management from member services to information technology, office management, human resources, operations and executive leadership. Fun Fact: Amy quite likely invented snark and is well-versed in its usage in her personal and professional lives. She also has 2 basset hounds that are working hard to be the new spokeshounds for Hushpuppies!

John has over twenty-five years’ experience in virtually all facets of association management. He is a former Chair of the Florida Society of Association Executives Board of Directors and in 2011 was recognized as their Executive Member of the Year. Fun Fact(s): John is a twin; outside of work he is a woodworking hobbyist and he also enjoys “all things outdoors”: kayaking, rucking/hiking, yard work, fishing and working out.

Rachel Luoma, MS, CAE

Vice President Rachel Luoma, MS, CAE – Rachel has been involved in associations for over 15 years and has experience in all areas of association management. She holds a Master’s Degree in Adult Education and holds the Certified Association Executive designation. Rachel was named a Young and Aspiring Professional by Association Trends Magazine, Executive of the Year by the Florida Society of Association Executives and was recognized as one of Association Forum’s and USAE’s Forty Under 40® Awards recipients. She is a former Chair of the Florida Society of Association Executives. Fun Fact(s): When she’s not doing her association management thing, Rachel rocks out as lead singer with Tallahassee’s hottest cover band – Suckerdust!

Jillian Heddaeus, CMP, IOM

Jillian holds over 15 years’ experience in association and organizational management. She works in the capacity as an executive director for both state and national associations and specializes in financial and information management. She is a graduate of the Institute of Organizational Management at the University of Georgia. She previously served on the board of the Tallahassee Society of Association Executives and is a previous winner of the “Association Professional of the Year” from TSAE. Jillian holds a B.S. degree in Information Systems from The Florida State University. Fun Fact(s): Outside of work, Jillian spends the majority of her time training for running and triathlons, working in the yard and watching golf.

Eric Thorn, Esquire

Eric serves as Partners’ in-house General Counsel. Eric formerly served as the General Counsel of the Florida House of Representatives following which he spent over a decade in private practice with Shutts & Bowen law firm where he represented both business and non-profit association clients in legal, governmental relations, and business development matters. Eric brings his public and private sector experience to bear for Partners’ clients, advising them on legal and regulatory matters and advancing state legislative initiatives. Eric is a frequent speaker and author on regulatory topics affecting Partners’ clients and works with state associations across the country helping to develop, present, and advance regulatory proposals and legislation. Fun Fact(s): Eric enjoys fishing, boating, bowling, fine dining and cooking, and recently started keeping bees.

Dee has over twenty-five years’ experience in association management. She holds both the Certified Association Executive and Certified Meeting Professional designations. Dee is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the Florida Society of Association Executives, formerly serving on the FSAE Board of Directors and as President of the Tallahassee Society of Association Executives. Fun Fact(s): When Dee is not biking, camping or boating with her husband, she enjoys curling up with her cat and a good book.

Lindsey brings experience in the areas of donor cultivation and fundraising, certification and testing, and social media marketing. Lindsey began working at Partners right after graduating Florida State University, and has now been with the firm for seven years, focusing on the dental sector at the national level. Fun Fact(s): Lindsey enjoys spending her spare time with her family at the beach, 60’s music, and exercising so she can indulge in sweets guilt free!

Christina brings over eighteen years’ experience working with state, regional and national associations. Christina is a member of the Florida Society of Association Executives and completed the Qualified Association Specialist Program. She is also a graduate of the TSAE Program in Association Leadership. Christina holds a B.A. in Communication from Hanover College and a M.A. in Communication from The Florida State University. Fun Fact(s): Christina enjoys reading, spending time with her family and watching college football.
